We have become accustomed to machines being stronger, faster, more physically capable than any human. But this does not make us doubt our self-image:
Humans are unique in their thinking, their comprehension, their intelligence. – Or is he not?
We are currently facing the greatest crisis of human self-image in its history:
Technology, created by man, which thinks better than he does.
What exactly is thinking, intelligence and consciousness? Can we build machines that are more intelligent than any human? – And if so, how and when? What does this mean for us humans?
These exciting questions were highlighted in this keynote against the backdrop of the latest scientific findings.
Georg Gesek on the topic of “Quantum Computers and Artificial Intelligence”.
