Georg Gesek, CEO of Novarion, wants to fortify Austria as a location for high-tech industry, especially in the area of research and development. “We are already working on the next generation of computers and the one after that, thinking ten years ahead. Austria can become the Silicon Valley of Europe,” Gesek is very confident about the future and adds: “However, we have to invest a lot more in research and education for the coming generation.”

Charles Liang, CEO of Super Micro, is pleased about the deepened cooperation: “It is our great enthusiasm to work with Novarion.” The joint efforts will focus on the low power consumption of IT systems, the development of parallel computers (GPU systems) and the further standardisation of storage systems.
